This is my seventh year at OSHS. However, my journey started by graduating with a BS in Journalism and Broadcasting with an option in Public Relations from Oklahoma State University. I worked for a non-profit organization in Blue Springs before receiving my MED from Rockhurst University.
My first year of teaching was at St. Therese as a permanent long-term substitute then I headed to Winnetonka High School in the North Kansas City School District where I completed my student teaching and second year of teaching. I then found my home at South. This year I will be teaching Applied Geometry.
I am married to a wonderful loving man, Zachary. In our free time, we enjoy playing with our beautiful little girl, Kaylee, and our smiley little man, Caleb. As a family, we love to rock climb, go on walks with our puppy, Sugar, play on the playground and of course entertain Caleb in various ways. Currently, I am working on our family scrapbook and hope to get caught up on our summer adventures.
